Welcome to Orleans

It’s shoreline along the Bay includes many miles of sand flats and Rock Harbor, where many fishing, charter, and recreational boats are based out of. The shoreline on the Atlantic side is dynamic and ever changing. The beach stretches for miles and runs along dunes, salt marches and inlets that are ever changing with the seasons. Nauset Beach is the gateway to the southern sandy spit known for its Over Sand Beach driving, a fun spot to take the jeep or camper and enjoy fishing, swimming, and the camaraderie of others that like the salt life. Other venues in town include the Cape Cod Rail Trail for biking, hiking trails, local galleries, shops and restaurants, and a seasonal art colony.
